Nashville gaming company chosen for Chicago accelerator

Nashville gaming company GameWisp has landed a spot in Chicago-based accelerator Techstars' summer mentorship class.

In the tech accelerator's fifth year, the 10-company class will spend three months honing their businesses in Chicago before presenting to investors at Demo Day in August. GameWisp's platform allows users to discover, distribute and monetize video gaming content.

"GameWisp is committed to serving gaming video creators and their audiences by providing them with a platform that can truly showcase gaming video content. Techstars helps us fulfill that commitment in two key ways: focus and resources," said the company's leaders via their blog.
