Ryman's Gaylord National reopens after water concerns

Ryman Hospitality Properties announced today that potential major water problems have been averted at its Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center at Fort Washington, Md.

As the company previously announced, following communication from the Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission WSSC that a water shutdown was a certainty, a "significant effort" was made to relocate scheduled guests. the company said in a release. Losses in revenue have not been determined.

Marriott International, Ryman’s manager at the facility, began accepting guests today at 10 a.m. EDT.
