Franklin-based CBS Foods has added to its lineup of frozen seafood meals with the launch of Chef Big Shake’s Lobster Mac & Cheese. The eight-ounce serving features North Atlantic Lobster and Vermont white cheddar sauce and has a 15-month shelf life. CBS officials say they’re marketing the meals through regional Marsh, Giant Eagle, HyVee, Festival and Wayfield Markets stores and that other retailers are expected to sign on in the coming months.
“Mac & Cheese is America’s favorite comfort food,” says Shawn ‘Chef Big Shake’ Davis, founder of CBS Foods. “I wanted to create a version that appeals to everyone from epicurean foodies to your everyday parent.”
