Ingram Content aligns with Massachusetts publishing entity

Ingram Content Group Inc. and Courier Corp. today announced a partnership to provide global content services for publisher clients.

With the arrangement, financial terms of which were not disclosed, Courier will use Ingram Content's print-on-demand and digital distribution services, and Ingram Content will use Courier’s printing capabilities to streamline workflow and speed delivery to retailers and readers worldwide.

A subsidiary of Nashville-based Ingram Industries Inc., Ingram Content has garnered headlines lately for various moves. For example, the La Vergne-based company in April announced it is teaming with a large Indian publishing house on a joint venture that will bring its VitalSource e-textbook platform to the world's second-largest country.
