Jimmy Ward (pictured), chief executive officer of insurance and risk management firm The Crichton Group, has been named president of Ohio-based Westfield Agents Association.
The association advocates for Westfield Insurance Co. agents and policyholders, makes educational opportunities available to member agencies, and participates in strategic planning and technology innovations. Westfield is one of the nation's 50 largest property and casualty insurance companies and provides commercial and personal insurance in 21 active states and surety services to customers in 31 states.
"It's a pleasure to have Jimmy in this role," Ed Largent, president of Westfield Insurance, said in a press release. "Jimmy is well respected by Westfield and the agencies he represents and we look forward to working with him as the association president."
Nashville-based The Crichton Group bills itself as the “largest independent agency” in Middle Tennessee. The 34-year-old agency has 90 employees.
