The office leasing team in CB Richard Ellis' downtown base has taken a stab at how 2013 might unfold. They see the market absorbing about 550,000 square feet of office space this year, below the historical average of more than 700,000 square feet. The main culprit: A lack of inventory.
Though the numbers for this year may not be all that exciting, we certainly expect to see a few eye opening transactions occur that will jump start new projects. Nashville’s office real estate future looks solid and continues to rank well by all national measures.
