The group that hopes to develop a 30-story Westin hotel in SoBro has a one-acre site near the Music City Center under contract, according to The Tennessean.
Nashville Hospitality Capital LLC has a contract to buy the building last home to Cokesbury bookstore and an adjacent parking lot for $8 million, the morning daily reports. Led by investor Kevin M. Fee, the group originally planned to purchase the property from Terra Verde Group, which had the site under contract and eyed a massive mixed-use development. Terra Verde would later decide to pass on the acquisition.
The property is located near the MCC Roundabout.
Last month, Nashville Hospitality paid $4.85 million for a 0.75-acre site next to the bookstore.
