Surveyed CRE pros still upbeat

More than 60 area commercial real estate pros surveyed by Southeast Venture are optimistic about the sales and leasing prospects in Middle Tennessee in 2013, though not quite as giddy as in the past few years. The office market is expected to be strongest.

“With leasing — and with sales — seeing more construction and development in most if not all sectors would be a good thing,” said Wood Caldwell, principal for Southeast Venture. “As long as that development is well planned and executed, there’s certainly a growing demand to support it.”
