RFID Hotel adds Nashville office

Orlando-based RFID Hotel, a maker of plastic hotel room keycards, has added a Nashville office and tabbed Brian Brooks as director of operations to oversee it.

Previously, Brooks served as regional sales manager for electronic locking technology distributor Lodging Access Systems LLC.

"RFID Hotel's impressive incremental growth requires us to branch out with a new sales office and fulfillment center, and Nashville's centralized location — more than 70 percent of the country is accessible via two-day ground shipping — makes it the logical choice," Steve Brooks, the company's principal owner, said in a release. "This new office, which will complement our global headquarters in Orlando, will support RFID Hotel's mission of providing the hotel industry with the highest quality RFID access devices at the most competitive prices."

RFID Hotel has a joint venture agreement with a manufacturer of RFID (radio-frequency identification) cards and credentials to represent its products in North America. Working with both independent properties and hotel chains, RFID Hotel stocks more than a million RFID keycards, key fobs and wristbands with credentials for all major locking systems.
