Nashville-based software vendor onFocus Healthcare has signed up a sizable Catholic health care system in Erie, Pa., as a client, according to a presser linked here. The move is part of a larger plan at Saint Vincent Health System to improve its operations and finances.

“The Catholic health system, which is the largest healthcare provider in the Erie region, is anchored by a 428-bed tertiary care and teaching hospital that employs 3,000 people and nearly 300 physicians. It also includes a network of outpatient healthcare sites, including surgery, imaging, and rehabilitation centers.

"We needed a partner with deep healthcare expertise to help us realize our vision for taking Saint Vincent Health System to the next level of performance excellence," said Tom Fucci, Chief Operating Officer of Saint Vincent Health System.
