Bids for Regions Center approach $15M

Bidding for downtown’s Regions Center is continuing today with a flurry of afternoon bids. An unknown bidder had offered $14 million as of 2:28 p.m.

Interestingly, the bidding process has picked up steam as the day progressed. This morning at 8, the high bid was only $7.5 million. Bidding via auction.com started Monday at $6 million for the 602,000-square-foot, 28-story building, which opened in 1973.

The Nashville office of Cassidy Turley helped handle the sales process for Regions Center owner LNR Partners, which is based in Miami Beach, Fla. Auction.com Commercial’s Erin Andrew and Crews Johnston III and Perry Gooch, Cassidy Turley senior managing director and vice president respectively, co-coordinated the effort.

Nashville Post will keep you posted as to the bidding process as the afternoon progresses.
