Medicare claims processor gets $170M renewal

Nashville-based CGS Administrators — hands up if you've heard of 'em until now — said Tuesday that Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services officials have renewed its contract to process Medicare claims and provide customer service. Workers at CGS, which employs 900 people here and another 120 in Iowa and North Carolina, will handle CMS work covering 16 states and the U.S. Virgin Islands for at least another year. The renewal is worth $170 million.
