The US Youth Soccer board of directors now has its first-ever Tennessee director in the form of Shawn Morris, the president of development and innovation at HealthSpring. Morris is one of two recently elected independent directors at US Youth Soccer, the largest youth sports organization in the nation.

In a statement, US Youth Soccer Executive Director Jim Cosgrove said Morris' "ability to drive innovation and his track record of success in a large, multi-market organization mirrors both the need and the environment at US Youth Soccer."
