Catheter device maker in $6M raise
Franklin-based RyMed Technologies, which makes a catheter connector that doesn't require needles, has raised $6 million from an investor group. While the company began its raise last November, word of the funding's completion comes — likely not coincidentally — just two weeks after a local judge said the company had not violated a competitor's patent. In its filing, RyMed officials say their revenues now top $5 million.
