Officials for both Gaylord Entertainment and Dollywood moved quickly last week to update comments made by Dolly Parton that their plans to build a water-and-snow theme park of Briley Parkway were on hold because of Gaylord's pending Marriott transaction. The parties say they're still committed to the $50 million project and working on how to move forward.
