Gulch master develper MarketStreet Enterprises is planning to launch a new website in a few weeks, according to Dirk Melton, the Nashville-based company’s development director.

On a related note, MarketStreet recently unveiled a new website for its under-construction Pine Street Flats mixed-use development.

Melton said the company has generated a good bit of interest on The Gulch in general and the retail spaces in Pine Street Flats, in part, thanks to some eye-catching marketing materials — which include many renderings courtesy of local design pros Hastings Architecture Associates —  it used at the recently held International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) meeting in May in Las Vegas. Within the marketing packet are some maps that refer to the segment of The Gulch spanning 12th and Eighth avenues south as the “East Gulch,” a relative recent marketing move.

Melton said the team is receiving prelease interest on about half the 16,600 square feet of retail space (within five spaces) that Pine Street Flats will include. He declined to disclose the names of the interested parties.

“We’re starting to get some critical mass,” Melton said.

Pine Street Flats, which now offers a leasing office in a trailer across 11th Avenue from the construction site, will see its first renters arrive in November. The building is slated for full completion by the end of spring 2013.
