Waste Connections — in an effort to void a recent Metro Council vote stifling the Texas-based company's efforts to construct a waste transfer station in East Nashville — has filed a lawsuit in Davidson County Chancery Court, accusing the council of conspiring in private to disapprove the proposed facility.
