Six weeks after closing the doors to their Cool Springs store, Mark Gregory and his team at Mac Authority have announced plans to set up shop in Johnson City. Their 5,000-square-foot outlet in The Mall at Johnson City will lift their store base back to five.

Over its near-!fteen-year lifespan, MacAuthority has experienced considerable growth alongside the Apple platform. "Seeing this company expand from a mom-and-pop used computer shop for us Mac folks, and now move into an area of the state that has been chomping at the bit for our all-Apple focus is very exciting," says Leverett, "I can't wait to see this store thrive, while bringing these amazing products into people's lives."
