Zeitlin introduces home search app

Zeitlin & Company, Realtors, announced today it has unveiled an app that matches a user’s customized parameters with available homes while also offering information about surrounding neighborhoods, such as nearby restaurants, churches and retail.

The free app can be used on iPhone, iPad and Android devices.

“Technology is now a mainstay in the real estate industry, and Zeitlin and Company, Realtors, is embracing it with open arms,” Shirley Zeitlin, company CEO, said in a release. “Our company’s focus has always been our clients, and this app is another way to enhance our relationship with them.”

Updated hourly, the app gives detailed directions on a map. If a user drives past a house of interest, the app can use the device’s GPS to recognize the location, show nearby homes and access detailed information on each.

Zeitlin offers free cloud storage, called Home Finder, which includes both a star rating system and notes section that homebuyers can share with their Zeitlin agents to help refine the home search. Zeitlin agents can also input home recommendations into the system for digital collaboration with their clients.

In addition, users can request showings from an agent for specific homes straight from the app.

Don't we have something

Don't we have something called Zillow? The average app gets used 3 or 4 times then gets deleted after 45 days. I predict this investment in technology will yield zero (or negative results) to Zeitlin. App discovery costs, push notifications, etc., will be substantial if they are to compete with Zillow.
