Local tech entrepreneur Roe Frazer has raised $1 million for Cicayda, a start-up taking aim at the booming e-discovery market that caters primarily to the legal industry. In its early stages, writes Milt Capps, the venture is likely to lean on some workers from another Frazer venture, social media play Digome.

Cicayda is not a just-off-the-napkin startup, Frazer noted, given that it builds on his years of law-sector and technology experience, and is able to leverage Digome resources. Four-year-old Digome has eight full-timers and is "very profitable," said Frazer.
