Nissan North America said its April sales fell about 1 percent, although its upscale Infiniti division posted a nice year-over-year gain. (It's worth pointing out that this year's April had three fewer selling days than 2011's.) With last year's strong sales now coming up for comparison, a number of other large auto makers also are posting weak numbers; only Chrysler kept up its growth pace.
