Corsair cleans up at American Distilling Institute Competition

Local artisan distiller Corsair turned in a strong performance at the American Distilling Institute's competition recently. The company beat 240 peers to be named the top-rated spirit at the Louisville event. And that was just the highlight.

Corsair won 18 awards at the American Distilling Institute this week, including the best of class, top artisan distilled whiskey award for "Grainiac" our 9 grain bourbon. Corsair is a small distillery, with big awards, winning the most of any distillery and were proud to get the top 'artisan distilled whiskey' award. The winners are mostly out of co-founder Darek Bell's recently released book: Alt Whiskeys. Corsair represented Tennessee well, bringing home a lot of hardware to Nashville. Another Whiskey, Citra, won the best of category and gold medal in the hopped whiskey category. It is made with the Citra hops.
