Full-scale work on West End Village looms

Atlanta-based The Residential Group has begun the process of demolishing three homes fronting Long Boulevard in Historic West End Park to make room for its planned West End Village apartment development.

Kurt Alexander, The Residential Group principal, said excavation will begin soon, with full on-site work slated to start in March.

Designed by Birmingham-based Davis Architects, West End Village will offer 244 units. Davis is also the architect for Music Row project Note 16 and for Pine Street Flats in The Gulch. Work on both those buildings is underway.

West End Village, a segment of which will address 31st Avenue, is The Residential Group's first project in Nashville.
