Midtown's Aloft Nashville West End — formerly Hotel Indigo — will soon see its interior given a full renovation, as work on the building’s exterior is almost completed.
Kim Klafter, the hotel’s general manager, said Aloft officials are finalizing the costs and dates for the interior work, which will include the lobby, guest rooms, commons areas and WXYZ Bar. A price tag for both the interior and exterior updates is not being disclosed.
“We’re hoping to have most of [the interior work] done by the beginning of the second quarter 2013,” Klafter said.
During the last few weeks, crews have transformed the once yellow and blue skin of the building to a combination of mainly neutral and dark gray, with yellow and blue rectangles offering visual flourishes (seen in photo). The palette change comes after new signage was recently affixed to the building's exterior.
Aloft Nashville West End is located in the 1700 block of West End Avenue.
