Murphy Business & Financial Corp., a Clearwater, Fla.-based business brokerage firm, has announced it will expand its presence in Nashville, with plans including adding up to three offices in the months ahead.

Murphy Business facilitates the buying and selling of small to mid-size businesses with revenues in the $500,000 to $10 million range. Led by Roger Murphy, the company also handles some merger and acquisition deals.

"Nashville is a vibrant business community, and we see our company filling a void in the marketplace for an intermediary that can facilitate dealmaking throughout the region," Murphy said.

In Tennessee, Murphy Business operates offices in Franklin and Knoxville.
