Buckingham goes before planning commission
Officials with Buckingham Cos. will go before the Metro Planning Commission on Thursday, Nov. 8, to request a rezoning to accommodate the Indianapolis-based company’s proposed, and unnamed, mixed-use development.
Buckingham is requesting the land — located at 204 and 208 21st Ave. S. and at 2003, 2005, 2007 and 2009 Division St. at the northeast corner of Grand Avenue and 21st Avenue South — be rezoned from mixed-use intensive alternative to specific plan mixed use. The sites spans 1.75 acres.
Buckingham is using Nashville-based Waller attorney James Weaver to assist in the effor for the development (a rendering for which is seen below).
