Buried in an electronic document on the Metro Government website devoted to proposed development (maps.nashville.gov/spsearch for those of you who enjoy such sites) is this rendering of the under-construction Homewood Suites, now rising at 24th and West End avenues across from Vanderbilt University.
Of note, the image might be a bit outdated as the developer reduced the height by one floor (to seven stories). Still, the building will rise about 85 feet tall.
Since we've yet to run the image (and, as far as we know, no other local media has either), we thought you might want to see. The exterior materials, according to the document, will consist of stone, brick, glass and synthetic stucco. Read more here.
