No area lenders in SBLF disbursement round

Treasury officials today said four Tennessee banks have received a combined $55 million in capital as part of the Small Business Lending Fund, which is designed to pump more loans to job-generating companies. None are based or active in the Nashville area, although both Pinnacle Financial Partners an Tennessee Commerce Bancorp have talked about applying for the funds as a way to help them repay their TARP obligations.

Here's the breakdown of the money handed out today:

• Carroll Financial Services Inc. in Huntingdon — $3.0 million
• Evolve Bancorp Inc. in Cordova — $4.7 million
• Independent Holdings Inc. in Memphis — $34.9 million
• SmartFinancial Inc. in Pigeon Forge — $12.0 million
