Informatics Corp. CEO joins Texas board

Informatics Corp. of America CEO Gary Zegiestowsky has joined the board of the Texas e-Health Alliance (TeHA), it was announced yesterday. According to the announcement, the TeHA  is designed to “bring together healthcare industry leaders to promote public policy initiatives that support the adoption of health information technology and to ensure a well-coordinated e-health policy for the state of Texas.”

“We are thrilled to have Gary join our board,” stated Nora Belcher, executive director of TeHA. “His leadership skills and experience in building ICA into a successful health information exchange company will be highly valued as we continue to move forward ensuring that the state of Texas remains a leader in developing rational health information technology and e-health policies. Texas and Tennessee are both nationally recognized as leaders in healthcare and Gary’s depth of knowledge in healthcare technology and policy will be a great addition to our board.”
