A two-year-old French Web development company has set up an office in downtown's CoLab that wil serve as its U.S. headquarters. KnpLabs works on projects written in Symfony, an open-source code launched in 2005. Local developer Ryan Weaver, who previously spent two years at Iostudio and ran his own shop, is leading KnpLabs' U.S. efforts and plans to hire six people in the coming year. He is hosting training seminars in Music City and the Big Apple later this spring.
