Mount Pleasant got a big economic development boost today with word that IB Tech, a division of Japanese auto parts maker Imasen, will invest $50 million to renovate a plant that will soon be home to 385 workers. IB Tech, which manufactures car seat parts, becomes the third auto supplier in the past five weeks to commit to a big investment on Nashville's southern rim.
