Essent Healthcare has named Bill Porter the CEO of Paris Regional Medical Center in Paris, Texas. Porter, who became the hospital's COO in January, served as the faclity's interim CEO since August, when Chris Dux resigned from the role.

“We believe Bill Porter is a good fit for the hospital and for the community,” says Steve Wylie, executive vice president and chief operations officer for Essent Healthcare. “Since his arrival, Bill has made an immediate impact at PRMC. His experience, knowledge and enthusiasm are just what we need to move forward.”

Essent also recently named a new CEO for Sharon Hospital in Connecticut.
