Think tank: One in 50 Nashville jobs will disappear in '09
A report produced for the U.S. Conference of Mayors says Nashville companies will lay off another 15,000 people this year, or 2.0 percent of the region's total labor force. That puts us right in the middle of a group of peer cities.
